Efficient Portable Loading Dock Platform
The Copperloy platform is used in combination with a Copperloy dock to ground ramp (stationary ramp) or the Copperloy yard ramp (mobile ramp). The platform creates a longer level approach for the fork truck to enter the trailer and allows easy access for 90 degree turns.
Copperloy platforms are available in capacities from 16,000 lb. to 30,000 lb. with a variety of standard widths and lengths. Platforms can be bolted together to create custom sizes.
Standard features include:
- All welded steel platform with steel tread plate decking and side plates made from A572-50 high strength steel.
- Fixed steel legs
- (2) fixed curbs for welding on any two sides of the platform
- Lift sleeves for easy movement of platform
- Holes in steel legs included to lag to ground
Options for the platform include:
- Hand Rail – 42” high split hand rail
- Edge of Dock – factory will prep platform for edge of dock field installation

FEATURES
PLATFORM CURBS
6″ portable loading dock safety curbs to prevent accidental runoff. Exclusive hollow section design and proprietary box frame construction take the stress of heavy loads and the extra strain of cargo breakout.
PLATFORM STEEL TREAD PLATE
A mobile loading platform from Copperloy is constructed of electro-forged serrated steel for superior strength. Grating bearing bars are 1-3/4″″ thick. These bars are designed to offer extra durability in the roughest of applications. Bars are spaced 1″ apart to resist clogging of debris and to ensure an all-weather, high-traction running surface.
LIFT SLEEVES
Part of making a platform portable is creating easy ways to move it! Lift loops are provided for easy handling and repositioning of the platforms with a forklift.
PORTABLE STEEL PLATFORMS
Steel Platforms come in capacities up to 60,000 pounds and lengths reaching 12 feet. Steel platforms are heavier and require a forklift to move, but have higher capacities. Contact the factory for portable steel platform specifications.
HANDRAIL OPTION
Handrails can be added to any platform at any length required. Our 42-inch high split handrail are constructed in all steel.
