We use our sixty years of experience in the industry to manufacture America’s best loading dock ramps.  Copperloy manufactures a full range of ramps for your loading dock from ground to dock ramps, portable docks, mobile ground to truck ramps, dock boards, dock plates, and our affordable edge of dock leveler.  All our ramps are proudly manufactured in the USA at our Twinsburg, Ohio plant.

The Copperloy portable yard ramp far outperforms the competition with unique features designed to improve safety and productivity in your shipping departments.  These mobile loading dock ramps are easy to use and quick to raise, and the newly redesigned positioning one-cylinder design means less wear and tear and better reliability.  Centrally located, the single cylinder significantly reduces the likelihood of tipping providing the most stable loading dock ramps made in the US.  Operated by a hydraulic pump, it requires half the effort to raise and lower the ramp to the height of the truck.  This heavy duty steel ramp provides outstanding durability and easiest way to load and unload between ground level and container or semi-truck.

Easier ramp operation – The hydraulic pump’s external location provides easier operator access.

Faster ramp raise times – Copperloy dock ramps raise and lower 2.5 times faster.

Greater durability – Heavy duty steel construction and components designed for the harshest outdoor environments.

Loading Dock Ramp

Loading Dock Ramps Are Essential

Loading dock ramps are essential equipment for businesses that require the efficient and safe movement of goods between different levels. These ramps provide a sturdy and reliable bridge between a loading dock and a trailer or truck bed, allowing forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to easily move goods in and out of the vehicle. The ramp must be able to support the weight of the heaviest load that will be transported, including both the equipment and the goods being moved.

Copperloy loading dock ramps are durable and able to withstand the constant wear and tear of heavy use. With a Copperloy ramp, businesses can improve their productivity, minimize downtime, and reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.

Edge of Dock Leveler

The Copperloy dock leveler is the most affordable solution when the typical truck bed height is 5″ above or below the dock edge height level.  We offer two models a 20,000 lbs weight capacity and 30,000 lbs capacity.  The operator just pulls the handle and the dock leveler lifts over the truck bed.  It handles heavier capacities that a dock plate.

A loading dock leveler is a mechanical device that is used to bridge the gap between the loading dock and the trailer bed of a truck. The primary function of a loading dock leveler is to provide a smooth and safe transition for materials and equipment being moved between the dock and the trailer bed.

The loading dock leveler is typically installed at the edge of the dock and is operated by hydraulics or electric motors. When the trailer is backed up to the dock, the leveler is activated and the platform raises up and extends out to meet the trailer bed. This provides a level and stable surface for loading and unloading goods.

There are different types of loading dock levelers available in the market, each designed for specific needs. For example, there are hydraulic dock levelers, air-powered dock levelers, and mechanical dock levelers. The type of leveler used will depend on factors such as the weight and volume of materials being loaded or unloaded, the height difference between the dock and the trailer bed, and the frequency of use. Loading dock levelers are important equipment in the logistics and transportation industry. They provide a safe and efficient means of transferring materials and equipment between the dock and the trailer bed. Proper installation, maintenance, and operation of loading dock levelers are critical to ensure their longevity and safe use.

Ramps for forklift trucks

From stationary ramps to mobile yard ramps, dock boards, and dockplates, our ramps for forklifts are designed for safety and durability.  Engineered for the wear and tear that forklift ramps undergo, our heavy duty steel components ensure longevity.  All our ramps are engineered with the operator in mind with faster raise times, safety features, curbs, safety chains, and more.

A forklift loading dock ramp is an essential piece of equipment for businesses that need to move goods between a loading dock and a truck or trailer using a tow motor. These ramps provide a sturdy and safe bridge for forklifts and other material handling equipment to move heavy loads up and down between different levels.

Copperloy forklift loading dock ramps are available in a range of sizes and weight capacities, from smaller models designed for light-duty use to heavy-duty models that can support several tons of weight. They are typically made of high-strength steel or aluminum and feature a non-slip surface to prevent accidents and injuries.

One of the key benefits of a forklift loading dock ramp is its efficiency. It allows businesses to quickly and easily move goods in and out of a truck or trailer, reducing the time and effort required for loading and unloading. This can help businesses to improve their productivity and maximize their profits.

Our forklift ramps are designed to prevent accidents and injuries by providing a sturdy and stable platform for forklifts and other equipment. They also feature safety chains to prevent the ramp from slipping or shifting during use.

Loading dock plates

Dock plates bridge the gap between the semi-truck and the loading dock or yard ramp. Our aluminum dock plate can handle loads up to 12,500 lbs.  They are ideal for carts, pallet jacks, and dollies.  If you need a dockplate for forklifts, tow motors, or fork trucks, our steel dockplate is the best option. Steel dock plates handle capacities up to 17,000 pounds.

A dock plate is a piece of equipment that is commonly used in loading and unloading cargo between a dock and a trailer. It is designed to bridge the gap between the dock and the trailer, making it easier and safer for workers to move goods back and forth. Dock plates are typically made of steel or aluminum and come in various sizes and weight capacities to accommodate different loads. They are placed across the gap between the dock and the trailer and secured in place using locking legs or chains. Workers can then use hand trucks or forklifts to move goods across the plate.
