Surface-mount dock lifts give you the flexibility to create a loading area without installing a pit. These lifts can be placed on a suitable concrete surface and are available with optional wheels for easier relocation, making them a practical choice for facilities that need greater versatility.
Standard surface-mount models offer capacities up to 5,000 lbs. and can accommodate equipment such as hand carts, four-wheel carts, and pallet trucks.
Pit-mount dock lifts provide a permanent, heavy-duty solution for facilities with frequent or demanding loading operations. Installed in a recessed pit, the platform sits flush with the surrounding grade when fully lowered, helping protect the lift from accidental contact with trucks.
Standard pit-mount models are available in capacities from 5,000 to 15,000 lbs. They can accommodate everything from hand carts and powered pallet jacks to lift trucks.
